The OROME VALAR CS50A is a high-performance carbon wheelset designed for fast road riding, sportive, all-road adventures and light gravel. It combines a 50mm wave-profile carbon rim with Toray T800 carbon fibre, Sapim CX-Ray stainless steel spokes, ceramic bearings, a 60T ratchet hub and an aluminum alloy freehub body.

At a claimed 1310g, it offers an excellent balance of aerodynamic performance, durability and straightforward maintenance. Every wheelset is hand-built by experienced wheel builders to ensure accurate spoke tension, trueness and long-term reliability.

Its 50mm wave-profile rim is designed to improve aerodynamic efficiency while remaining stable in crosswinds. Whether you're riding exposed roads, tackling rolling terrain or spending long days in the saddle, it delivers predictable handling and confident performance.

Constructed from Toray T800 carbon fibre, the rim offers an excellent balance of stiffness, strength and low weight. The 23mm internal width and 29.5mm external width provide better tire support, improving grip, cornering stability and ride comfort, while creating a cleaner aerodynamic transition between tire and rim.

The wheelset is built using Sapim CX-Ray stainless steel blade spokes, widely regarded as one of the benchmark performance spokes in cycling. Their aerodynamic profile helps reduce drag, while their combination of strength, fatigue resistance and elasticity delivers a responsive ride with excellent long-term durability. They're also readily available worldwide, making servicing and replacement straightforward if required.

A 60-tooth ratchet hub provides fast, positive engagement, while ceramic bearings reduce rolling resistance for smooth, efficient performance. The aluminum alloy freehub body keeps weight low and offers proven reliability with simple, easy maintenance.
